About Us

SEND Provision

Here at St James’ we are committed to meeting the needs of all pupils. We recognise that everyone is different and all of us have a range of strengths and needs and deserve the chance to reach our full potential. At St James, children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) are supported by dedicated staff who work to ensure they are highly valued as part of our school community.

Quality First Teaching (QFT) is at the heart of our support to ensure our pupils make progress with their academic, social and life skills. We have a dedicated team, including full-time Assistant Psychologists, who work with staff, classes, groups and individuals to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met and reviewed.

Click on the Local Offer logo below to visit Southwark's local offer site, giving information for Parents and Young People: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (ages 0-25).

Our SEND Policy and SEND Information Report are listed below for you to download, together with a leaflet provided by our Assistant Psychologists about the work that they undertake with the children.
