Secondary School Information

There was a secondary application meeting with Mr. Oliver and Mrs. Brenta, in the Summer term, the notes of which are attached below.

PAN London secondary school application site will open from 1st September to 31st October 2026 for admissions 2027-2028.  You must apply via admissions, using this link:

If you do not apply before the 31st October deadline, still follow the link; you will be able to apply as a late applicant.  Please try to apply before 31st October to ensure you are considered for your chosen school/s.

Southwark's brochure for Starting Secondary School 2027/28 will be attached at the bottom of this page once it is published. You may also wish to consider other local boroughs (for example, Lewisham, Lambeth, Westminster) to see what they have to offer.

Details of Southwark Secondary Schools Open Days/Evenings are found by visiting the individual secondary school website, or from the attachment (will be added when published) on this page.  We do encourage you to take your child to look around some of the secondary schools to get a feel for which school would be right for them. Ensure you visit a few different schools with your child, to get a feel of which one would suit them best.

If you are attending open days during the normal school day, please let the office at St James' know your child will be absent for a couple of hours. This will save us contacting you unnecessarily.
