Dear Parents & Carers,
Another busy week as we rapidly approach the long summer holidays! Millwall sessions continue with Year 5; swimming lessons have continued; Year 1 attended a Paddington experience trip and KS1 all attended the BST Festival trip to Hyde Park. Year 5 also had a super topic trip to the British Museum. We’ve also welcomed our new Reception children for September, along with parents, to have welcome meetings with Miss Molly. Our Collective Worship theme for this week has seen us continue to explore our school vision of ‘Let your light shine’ and our school aims and values with the children. This week – ‘Showing kindness and respect’.

Arbor App Notifications
A reminder that although urgent, time-critical information, or of a personal nature, will continue to be sent to you via text, the majority of our information to parents is sent via notifications on the Arbor parent app. Please do make sure your notifications are turned on in the app settings on your device so you are aware when new information is sent through.

Trips/Summer Weather
Another reminder to send in water bottles and to apply sun cream as we like to learn outside whenever possible at this time of year. We also have a few lovely trips on the horizon (see below and separate dates letter) so this is important on these days too.

Years 5&6 Summer Production – Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July

We’re eagerly awaiting our Year 5&6 production next week! Do come to OJR at one of the four performances – 14:00 or 18:00 daily. We always have enough space but do ask you not to come to every production to ensure everyone gets to see it and to be considerate of fellow parents and family members in the audience. For evening shows, please have children back to OJR Ready to go from 17:45 each evening. There is no need to supply any additional items for costume unless asked individually – school tops/skirts/trousers should be worn and we’ll add to these.
Events next week – please also note the ‘dates for your diaries’ letter.
