Newsletter - Friday 24th May 2024

A great, busy, productive week as we approach Summer half term! Library, swimming, sports, recorder, violin and Performing Arts sessions all continue and children have had a terrific half term! Y3 took part in a super multi-sports festival; Y1&2 children performed brilliantly in their production of ‘Look Up’; Y6 attended the Polka Theatre; our Alexis St School Food Matters gardening and growing project continues; Y5&6 are part of an ‘Intra-Sports’ event and Y3, 4 & Belgium are part of a violin recital at OJR.

Our Collective Worship theme has continued with Pentecost and the Holy Spirit.
After half term we’ll focus our attention on ‘The Early Church’ and the beginning of Christianity.
We break up for Summer Half Term on Friday 24th May at the usual time.

As always, we’re wishing you, along with our whole community,
a super half term break!
We’ll see you at the usual times on Monday 3rd June.
God bless, from the St. James’ team
