    Another really busy and active week – swimming and Millwall sessions continue for Years 5&6; Year 4 attended the Salmon Centre for a sports activity day on Tuesday; Summer Reading Challenge assemblies were delivered to all; Years 5&6 had medical workshops with King’s College Hospital; Year 6 took part in an excellent Careers’ Day and we have hosted a girls’ football tournament at KS2!

    Our Collective Worship theme for this week has seen us continue to explore our school vision of ‘Let your light shine’ and our school aims and values with the children. This week – ‘Speaking and Listening’.

    As always, attached below is our full newsletter together with updated diary date sheet, PGL kit list for Year 6's residential trip next week and a flyer for the Shout Out theatre and sport summer camp.

    A busy and productive week has seen us produce great History learning; 5 Turner and 6 Hockney attended their swimming sessions; Y5 started with their Millwall ‘Joy of Movement’ sessions; Y3 attended the British Museum, and 4 Kahlo also attended Southwark Park Gallery with parents and carers to see on display their recent lovely artwork with a local artist.

    internetmatters.org have partnered with Tesco to develop digital toolkits to help families set controls and privacy settings on new and old devices that they use, along with plenty of advice on how to deal with online risks. They've included tips on how to make the most of a digital world, based on what children like to do.

Agreeing ground rules for devices in and out of the home can help to have everyone working from the same page.
