Children have been busy with their French and PSHE learning this week – in addition, 6 Leopold have attended HSBC in Canary Wharf for an art exhibition and careers day and Reception children had eye tests in school from the school nursing team.
Our Collective Worship theme of ‘Communication’ has continued, looking at the way Jesus communicated with his disciples, the children he met, and the Widow, as a way of communicating with God.

Remember – we break up for Spring half term for a week next
Friday – 13th February – at the normal school times.
We look forward to the children’s return after a week away on
Monday 23rd February for Spring term 2!

Monday 9th
- Remaining Y2 children attending the Garden Museum as part of their topic learning;
- Final Y1 Girls ‘Empower Her’ extra PE session;
- Monday after-school enrichment clubs continue for the Spring term – these finish at 16:15 (Alexis St) and 16:30 (OJR).
Tuesday 10th
- Internet Safety Day
- Senior girls’ football sessions continue after school at Millwall.
Wednesday 11th
- Key Stage 2 Mental Health week awareness assemblies at Alexis St;
- Reception ‘Story Lab’ parent sessions by invitation.
Thursday 12th
- Reception ‘Story Lab’ parent sessions bu invitation.
Friday 13th
- Non-uniform day in aid of Children’s Mental Health Week with the theme ‘Express Yourself’ (no donations);
- Y4, 5 & 6 ‘Flag football’ sessions during the day at Alexis St – loose clothing and trainers encouraged for non-uniform.
