Latests Newsletter - Friday 5th December 2025
Another busy and productive week; children worked really hard with their assessments and have been busy learning French and PSHE this week. It was super to see so many parents and carers in attendance on Wednesday’s Open Evening! Many thanks for donations today in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and for such amazing hair styles on display!
Our Collective Worship theme has continued to focus on Advent, looking at John the Baptist and Jesus’s birth foretold.

Monday 8th December
• 4 Kahlo visiting the Blue Anchor library for story-telling and book-swapping;
• LAST DAY of Monday after-school enrichment clubs for the Autumn term – these finish at 16:15 (Alexis St) and 16:30 (OJR).
Tuesday 9th December
• Y6 Scholar’s Programme continues at Alexis St;
• 3 Seurat medical workshop with King’s College;
• ESOL Course begins at Alexis St with Southwark adult education;
• 4 Monet visiting the Blue Anchor library for story-telling and book-swapping;
• Y1 Christmas Stall event after school at OJR - see newsletter for details.
Wednesday 10th December
• Christmas Lunch will be served to all children at both sites.
Thursday 11th December
• ‘Big Book’ event – OJR Hall, 09:30 - see newsletter for details -
ALL WELCOME;
• KS2 Boys’ Football match after school with Alfred Salter.
Friday 12th December
• 6 Leopold continue with their swimming lessons;
• 5 Turner visiting the Blue Anchor library for story-telling and book-swapping;
• Christmas Jumper/Festive non-uniform day, no donations.
