Newsletter - Friday 20th June 2025

We've enjoyed another busy and beautifully sunny week in school! Library visits have continued, with 3 Lawrence and Y4 attending. Swimming lessons continue, 5 Ofili had a great Sports Trip with the PE Network, Y6 have engaged brilliantly with Cycle Confident lessons all week; Y2 parents attended Alexis St for a transition tour of Alexis St ready for September and we welcomed parents and carers to OJR for Reception's Sports Day. This follows the success of our Years 1-6 Sports Day at Southwark Park Athletics track last week – many thanks to Mr. Brenta for organising a terrific event!
Our Collective Worship theme has continued to focus on ‘Heroes of the Faith’. This week we learnt about John Wesley, Daniel and had a visit from Simon Hughes.
Please find attached below our full newsletter together with the diary date sheet and some information regarding the PGL trip next week for Year 6, PGL for current Year 5 as well as news of a summer fair and a girl's football camp.
