Latest Newsletter - Friday 13th June
Children continue to be settling in very well to our final half term – lots of trips and events this week, and on the horizon, at what is always a busy and exciting time of year.
Library visits have continued, with 3 Seurat and 2 Van Gogh attending. Reception and Y6 have visited the Science Museum; Y1 visited the London Transport Museum; Y5 have graduated from their ‘Mini-Police’ Junior Citizenship course; Y2 continue with transition work to Alexis St including a poetry share with Y5; Reception have music workshops and we’re thrilled as ever for Years 1-6 to be performing in our annual Sports Day at Southwark Park athletics track.
Our Collective Worship theme has started to focus on ‘Heroes of the Faith’. This week we learnt about Martha, Joshua and Noah and how we can take inspiration from them.
