Newsletter - Friday 2nd May 2025

We’re happy to report a lovely, sunny, busy second week of the Summer term! This week our swimming lessons have continued; Year 1 attended a super trip to the Horniman Aquarium and Gardens; Year 5 continue with their ‘Mini-Police’ citizenship sessions; Year 4 had a lovely story-telling and art session in the Orchard; our KS2 children are warming up for their ‘Mini Marathon’ at Alexis St and our parents’ evenings across both key stages have been really positive and well-attended.
Our Collective Worship theme has been based around the lead up to Pentecost, The Holy Spirit, and events following Easter.
Below is attached our full newsletter for the week together with a diary date update and a reminder of our BIG Coffee Morning, which will take place on Thursday 8th May starting at 9am at our Old Jamaica Road site - we look forward to welcoming you. Don't forget that school is closed for Bank Holiday on Monday 5th May.
Wishing you, our children, and our whole school community
a really lovely, sunny May Day weekend!
God bless, from the St. James’ team.
