  • Latest Newsletter - Friday 5th June 2026

    It’s great to see the children back for the final half term of the academic year! This week has seen some super History learning in action; class photos were taken; 5 Turner and 6 Hockney began their swimming sessions for the term; Year 5 started with their Millwall ‘Joy of Movement’ sessions; Year 6 took part in Cycle Confident sessions and clubs have re-commenced which will end on Monday 6th July for the year. 4 Kahlo also attended Southwark Park Gallery to help display their recent lovely artwork with a local artist – further details in our full newsletter attached below regarding the grand opening next Monday which parents and carers are invited to!

    Our Collective Worship theme for this week has seen us begin to explore our school vision of ‘Let your light shine’ and our school aims and values with the children. This week – ‘Loving to Learn!’.

    internetmatters.org have partnered with Tesco to develop digital toolkits to help families set controls and privacy settings on new and old devices that they use, along with plenty of advice on how to deal with online risks. They've included tips on how to make the most of a digital world, based on what children like to do.

Agreeing ground rules for devices in and out of the home can help to have everyone working from the same page.     We would like to take this opportunity to introduce the Evelina London School Nursing Service. If you are a parent/carer of a child(ren) at school and are worried about your child’s health and wellbeing, school nurses are here to help. We work in teams across Southwark and Lambeth and you can contact us for confidential advice and support on a wide range of issues. Please see our flyer attached below for further details of the services we can offer.

    Please let us know if your child has medical or physical and/or emotional health needs for which they need support. You can text a school nurse on 07520 631130.
