Year 6 PGL Residential Summer Trip
Year 6 children are encouraged to take part in the annual residential trip in June each year to PGL, Marchant's Hill in Surrey. Children always have a terrific time on their school journey and it's a great experience for everyone at the end of Year 6 once their SATS are completed as part of their busy and exciting final term at primary school. The children travel from Alexis Street by coach to the centre and return in the same way.
The cost of the trip to parents/carers for the three days includes food, activities and travel and is heavily subsidised by the school. Following an initial non-returnable deposit to secure your child's place, monthly payments are then set up on the Arbor App and parent/carers are able to pay either the monthly minimum, or any greater amount up to the cost of the entire trip; you have control over how and when you pay for the entirety of the trip over the duration of the school year, as long as the total is paid before the trip takes place.
A few children often stay at school during the duration of the trip. However, we would strongly encourage all to attend as it is always a lovely, memorable experience for everyone. Sadly, a few children were not able to attend last year as parents did not express interest or book - do be mindful that we cannot book additional spaces past the deposit deadline. A full notification of the payment plan will be issued to parents of Year 6 children at the beginning of the new academic year.
