Latest Newsletter - Friday 14 November 2025

A busy, productive week – all children from Reception to Y6 attended a moving Remembrance service on Tuesday with Vicar Katie and Rev Dom;
Y5 attended the National Maritime Museum as part of their History topic,
all children have taken part in interactive workshops with ‘One Day Creative’ to promote kindness and empathy during Anti-Bullying Week and we’re all supporting Children in Need and the amazing work they do with a non-uniform day and talent show.

Our Collective Worship theme has focused on Remembrance and
‘Inter-Faith’, looking at other world religions and finding comparisons and differences with Christianity. Next week we’ll continue to think about other major world religions.

Next Friday will also be a non-uniform day, in addition to the following week, in exchange for a donation to our school fund. Please do give anything you can afford to enable us to save money for school/playground improvements.

As usual, our full newsletter and diary dates are attached below.

Wishing you, along with our whole community, a lovely weekend.
God bless, from the St. James’ team.
