Our Y6 children have performed admirably this week in their SATs tests and we’re so very proud of how mature they all were. Results will be back towards the end of the school term; whatever children achieve, we can all be pleased with how they have approached these end of primary school tests. We are happy that when the weather has permitted, we've been able to take some of our learning outside, as you can see from Year 2 above, featuring some of their amazing Fairtrade writing as part of our World Food topic.
Y3 had a ‘Sport-Inspired’ assembly this week ahead of an event they’re taking part in; Y2 visited the London Honey Company; clubs, music, swimming lessons and library visits continue; Y6 have taken part in a sports afternoon and Reception, Y1&2 in an assembly delivered by Central School of Ballet.
Many thanks for supporting our ‘Wear Green’ day for Mental Health Week!

Our Collective Worship theme has continued with the Old Testament, looking at Daniel as a hero of the faith. We’ve learnt about Daniel as an inspirational character as well as King Nebuchadnezzar. Next week, we’ll think about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit.

Such a busy final week of this term next week including our Y1 & 2 production on two afternoons and our KS2 violin recital. Do please consult the summary below, as well as our diary dates sheet and full newsletter, both attached at the bottom of this page.

As always, we’re wishing you, along with our whole community, a great weekend,
God bless, from the St. James’ team.
