We hope to run Parent Gym via Zoom again very soon. Register your interest with Mrs. Brenta as numbers will be limited, either by email (email@example.com) or telephone (0207 237 3111).
Parent Gym’s school-based interactive sessions help build the skills and confidence of parents to create a calm home environment and raise happy children. Whilst social distancing is still a reality in school, Parent Gym has developed a brand-new set of short online modules, offering quick, practical techniques to help create a happier family. The e-workouts are FREE, fun and take only a few minutes to do on your phone, tablet or laptop – perfect for when you are making a cup of tea. The first module - Keep Talking, looks at ways to get our families communicating.

Love and Harmony focuses on the importance of nurturing our family relationships during this time at home, offering top tips for maintaining family balance when tensions may be raised.
The topics covered in Love and Harmony are:
Worry Watch - Helping our children to communicate and navigate their worries helps them to feel supported and secure.
Ways to Show Love – Showing our children that we love them is more important than ever when tensions are running high and there are feelings of insecurity.
Managing Conflict – Understanding the reasons for disputes can help us to make sure that family disagreements don’t spiral out of control.
Taking Care of Number 1 – Making sure that we take time to look after ourselves will help us to keep calm and look after our children better.
Easy to watch on your phone, tablet or laptop the eWorkouts take around ten minutes each – perfect for a quick tea break. They are all ‘self-contained’ and can be done in any order.
Much of the power of the Parent Gym programme is in bringing parents together over time, sharing experiences and learning from each other. While these modules are not a replacement for face-to-face programmes, we very much hope that they can provide some practical support to parents.
