A very productive and busy half term, ending with a super Maundy Thursday service. We’re so proud of all the children and their many and varied achievements! Y3&4 were amazing in their production of Mary Poppins; we have had really

    about keeping safe.

Please see attached below our full newsletter together with a diary dates sheet, some Easter holiday ideas, school clubs information as well as courses for parents to attend in the new term.

Wishing you, your families, and our whole community
a lovely, safe and happy Easter Holiday!
We look forward to seeing everyone back
at the usual school times on Monday 15th April.

  • Newsletter - Friday 22nd March 2024

    Published 21/03/24

We've had a really great, focused Assessment Week with lots of terrific French and Relationship & Health Education learning too. This term has really flown and I can’t believe we break up for the long Easter Holiday next Thursday! Do remember we break up next Thursday at 13:15 (OJR) and 13:30 (Alexis St) with no after-school club provision on the final day.
This week, 6 Canada visited the London Transport Museum; Reception had a lovely trip to Lavender Pond; all children from Reception – Year 6 have had NSPCC staying safe assemblies; swimming lessons and library visits have continued as well as Violin and Recorder lessons. Y3&4 are looking performance-ready for their production of ‘Mary Poppins’ next week'. Thank you for helping us to support Comic Relief last Friday – we raised £227.19 as a school! Thanks also for donations of Easter eggs/bake sale items before our tombola and bake sale next Wednesday. If things are brought in before then, this is fine. In Collective Worship this week, we’ve begun to think about Easter in the lead up to Holy Week in the final week of term.

Please see our full newsletter below together with useful information regarding Easter holiday events, diary dates sheet and a flyer regarding after-school tennis coaching.

Wishing you, your families, and our whole community a super weekend; we’re all hoping for the Spring weather to continue!

God bless, from the St. James’ team
