</item><item>	<title><![CDATA[ Latest Newsletter - Friday 10th July 2026 ]]></title>

Our Year 5s and 6s performed with gusto in their end of year Summer production; Reception and Year 1 took part in super Art &amp; Story-telling workshops; Years 3 &amp; 4 attended the BST Festival in Hyde Park and our senior girls&rsquo; football teams beat some of our staff in a football match on Tuesday 2-0! Today our Year 6 children attend their Southwark Cathedral Leavers&rsquo; Service and are performing with the theme of &lsquo;Service&rsquo; as they look forward to their next step.</p>

<p>Our Collective Worship theme for this week has seen us continue to explore our school vision of &lsquo;Let your light shine&rsquo; and our school aims and values with the children. This week &ndash; &lsquo;Values and Responsibility&rsquo;.</p>

<p>Please see attached below our full newsletter and reminders for Summer Camp, Puppet Festival and Library activities all taking place throughout the summer break. Below is the schedule for this final week of term including the early closing time on the last day of term, Friday 17th July.</p>

	<li>All children meet their new class teachers for 2026-2027 in their new learning environments to prepare them for their next step.</li>

	<li>End of Year/Year 6 Leavers&rsquo; Service in St. James&rsquo;s Church, 11:00;</li>
	<li>Break up for Summer Holidays. HALF DAY &ndash; 13:30 Old Jamaica Road/13:15 Alexis St. Please note there is no after-school club provision on the final day of term.</li>

Millwall sessions continue with Y5; swimming lessons have continued; Y1 attended a Paddington experience trip and KS1 all attended the BST Festival trip to Hyde Park. Y5 also had a super topic trip to the British Museum. We&rsquo;ve welcomed our new Reception children for September, along with parents, to have introductory&nbsp;meetings with Miss Molly.</p>

<p>Our Collective Worship theme for this week has seen us continue to explore our school vision of &lsquo;Let your light shine&rsquo; and our school aims and values with the children. This week &ndash; &lsquo;Showing kindness and respect&rsquo;.</p>

<p>Another timely reminder to send in water bottles and apply sun cream as we like to learn outside whenever possible and next week is looking warm again.</p>
