We have been contacted via the Headteacher cascade with two reported incidents concerning local primary school age children, the details of which are below. As always, we urge you to ensure that your children are accompanied to and from school by a responsible adult and that you talk as a family concerning the dangers of speaking to strangers. We will always enforce these same safety messages at school. Please report any incidents to school and the police.

A local primary school reported that just before lunch on Friday 16 September, staff spotted a man, standing at the school’s Costa Street gate, appearing to be taking photos of EYFS children in the playground. When a member of staff called over another member of staff to go and investigate, he walked off towards Choumert Road. The man was white, about 6ft, with mousy brown hair, wearing beige trousers and top. The school reported the incident to the police.
