We have been notified of some free craft activities being held at the Thomas Carlton Centre on Monday and Tuesday, 23rd and 24th October, of half term. Places are bookable on 0207 358 2100, see the flyer at the bottom of this page for full details of the activities available.

Southwark Council are providing free cycle training courses to all children who live or go to school in the borough during Half Term. Training takes place in either the mornings or in the afternoons and courses start on Tuesday 24th October. Locations are Dulwich Park or Burgess Park. This is suitable for children from 6 years. Cycles are available to borrow at Burgess Park but not at Dulwich Park.  Children must be able to attend training for every session. Places are limited and can be booked online on a first-come-first-served basis. To secure a place, parents and carers need to book on the Cycle Confident website . Southwark Borough residents are now able to use the swim and gym facilities for free in six of the borough’s leisure centres, operated by  Everyone Active in partnership with Southwark Council. Registration is now open for Free Swim and Gym - follow the link to register: click here.

When is the offer available?

  • Anytime on Friday (subject to programmes and timetables)
  • Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm to close
  • Over 60s can take part in any Silver sessions free
  • Disabled residents will be able to use all leisure centres for free seven days a week


We regularly attend St James' Church for services and every Wednesday we have a Church assembly at both schools.
